Trip to the Danube Bend

Programme summary

The Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism invites you to a programme organised on 8 October to explore together some important attractions of one of the most beautiful and touristically significant geographical landscapes of Hungary.

The participants will have the opportunity to taste some wines of the Ászár-Neszmély wine region and learn about them from a professional. Additionally, participants are invited to taste the famous rétes of Neszmény.

In the afternoon, the participants will discover a 1.5 km-long ecotourism trail in Tata where they can expand their knowledge of the natural values of the area. (In case of bad weather conditions, participants will visit the Esztergom Basilica, one of Europe’s largest basilicas).

Participants will be invited to create together short videos about the trip.

Meeting point and departure time:
10 am, Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality, and Tourism (District V, Alkotmány Street 9-11)

Departure time back to Budapest from Tata/ Esztergom (depending on the weather):
16:30-17:00

Participation fee:
Free of charge

The program is open to international students of all three faculties.
As we have a limited number of places, the application happens on a first-come, first-served basis.
